Sokichi Banba is a flamboyant dandy playboy, a master of disguise, and a brilliant ISSIS officer who was called in to take over operations in Tokyo when Joker transferred to New York in Episode 23. Banba was instrumental in helping Joker implement the original J.A.K.Q. project.

He is himself a cyborg, widely considered the ultimate "super cyborg," as his advanced bionic implants allow him to harness and manipulate all four cosmic powers: atomic, magnetic, electric, and gravity. Nicknamed the "Shiroi Chojin," or The White Superman, Banba can direct his energies to perform incredible feats, including flight, super-speed, and superhuman strength.

He wields the Big Baton, a high-impact fighting stick used to strike down opponents. A cool-headed leader and masterful tactician, he consistently devises brilliant battle plans to defeat Crime. Banba is unique in that he does not require a Kyouka Capsule to transform; instead, he shifts into Big One simply by taking a sniff from a magic red rose.

In battle, he is responsible for loading the Big Bomber cannon assembled by the team. He later returned twenty-four years after the fall of Crime in Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai as the leader of the Dream Sentai, utilizing a devastating spectrum slash known as the Big Finish.
