Bunta was a 23-year-old oceanographer who tragically died of oxygen deprivation in a freak submarine accident. His body was cryogenically sustained in a medical facility for research until Joker discovered him. Using advanced bionic technology, Joker successfully revived Daichi as a cyborg.

This gave Daichi a second chance at life, carrying the memory of his beloved younger sister, Emi, and the rest of his family who perished in an airplane crash five years earlier. His bionic enhancements allow him to manipulate gravitational forces. By increasing his body's weight and density, Daichi gains immense superhuman strength.

With his power cycling in the range of 700 horsepower, he uses his Juroku Energy to deliver devastating punches and kicks. Daichi can hurl opponents across great distances with his Power Throw or take down dozens of enemies at once with his flying King Power Press jump attack.

His left hand houses the Club Megaton, a weapon that can convert into a heavy ball-and-chain to strike, smash, and bind his enemies.
