Armed Brain Army Volt

Armed Brain Army Volt is an organization of self-proclaimed superior intellects based aboard the orbiting Zuno Base. Its members believe most of humanity is intellectually inferior and unworthy of shaping the future.

Volt claims to seek a world ruled by genius, but its true purpose is to complete Great Professor Bias' Giga Brain Wave, allowing him to pursue immortality and control humanity through thought-pattern energy.

Great Professor Bias

Great Professor Bias

Great Professor Bias is the leader of Volt, worshiped by his followers as a near-divine super genius. He appears youthful and composed, but his appearance hides the truth of his age and the terrible methods he uses to prolong his life.

Bias cultivates brilliant followers until their minds reach the level he needs, then harvests their brains for the Brain Room. His dream of the Giga Brain Wave is not a gift to genius, but a system designed to preserve himself and dominate others.

Doctor Kemp

Doctor Kemp / Beauty Beast Kemp / Fear Beast Kemp

Doctor Kemp was once Kenji Tsukigata, Yuusuke's friend at Academia. His original dream was to use biotechnology to make humans immune to disease, but Bias twisted his ambition into vanity, cruelty, and a hunger for superiority.

After betraying Academia and murdering Takuji and Mari, Kenji becomes Volt's top pupil. His monstrous forms reflect his obsession with beauty and power, eventually leading him to become Fear Beast Kemp. Bias ultimately betrays him by stealing his brain, reducing his body to the mindless Fear Beast Zuno.

Doctor MazendaRui Senda

Doctor Mazenda / Machine Mazenda / Robo Mazenda

Doctor Mazenda was formerly Rui Senda, a brilliant and haughty Academia student who was Megumi's rival and once broke Yuusuke's heart. She rebuilds herself as a cyborg to symbolize cold perfection and preserve her beauty.

Despite her mechanized body and concealed weapons, traces of Rui's lost humanity continue to surface. After learning Bias' true purpose, she removes the remaining organic parts of her body to keep him from harvesting her brain, but her final moments reveal that some of her humanity still remains.

Doctor Obler

Doctor Obler

Doctor Obler was once Go Omura, Jou's friend from Academia Island. A childhood prodigy pressured by his mother to study at the cost of a normal life, Go's insecurity and exhaustion made him vulnerable to Bias.

Volt's research transforms him into an inhuman monster, but the remaining humanity inside Go eventually resurfaces. With his mother's love and the Livemen's intervention, he breaks free from Volt and begins reclaiming the life Bias nearly destroyed.

Doctor Ashura and the Shurer Three

Doctor Ashura and the Shurer Three

Doctor Ashura was once Arashi Busujima, a violent underworld figure with a deep resentment toward educated elites. Bias accelerates his intelligence and transforms him into a new Volt officer.

Ashura combines brute force with his artificial genius, later creating the Shurer Three through his Cyber Bunshin technique. When he uncovers suspicious information about Bias, he becomes another follower targeted by the very master he served.

Guardnoid Gash

Guardnoid Gash

Guardnoid Gash is Bias' robotic bodyguard and one of the few beings who knows the truth behind Bias' plans. Armed with firearms, a Video Eye targeting system, and the Giga Phantom enlargement bazooka, Gash supports Volt's operations from the shadows.

He is ultimately destroyed alongside Bias after losing his right forearm to Yuusuke during the final conflict.

Guildian Guildos

Guildian Guildos

Guildos is a robot secretly built by Bias and given false memories of being an alien genius from Planet Guildo. Bias uses him to pressure his other scientists into surpassing their limits.

Guildos becomes prideful and attempts to prove himself superior, but the truth of his artificial identity shatters him. Realizing his entire life was a lie, he malfunctions and dies in shock.

Chibuchian Butchy

Chibuchian Butchy

Butchy is an orange, ape-like robot created by Bias and given false memories of being an alien from Planet Chibuchi. Cheerful and eccentric, he enjoys roller skating and music, and claims to be a karaoke expert.

After learning the truth about himself, Butchy is forced to keep serving Bias. Megumi's kindness reaches him, but Bias activates his self-destruct system, causing Butchy to sacrifice himself while pushing Megumi away.

Jinmers

Jinmers

Jinmers are Volt's green-skinned android foot soldiers, recognizable by their mohawk-like hair. They are difficult to defeat because their heads and limbs can operate independently even after being separated.

Mazenda later develops Dummymen, a variant capable of assuming human form. One Dummyman, Tanaka, defects after falling in love with Colon and sacrifices himself to save her.
