Commander Ibuki is the stern but deeply dedicated leader of the Earth Defense Force. Though his training methods initially appear harsh and uncompromising, his severity comes from experience rather than cruelty.

He is eventually revealed to be Yui Ibuki, a survivor from Planet Heath, a world destroyed by the Great Star League Gozma. Having witnessed the devastation of his own home, Ibuki dedicates his life to preparing Earth's defenders so that the planet will not suffer the same fate.

The EDF Support Soldiers are elite personnel drawn from various military organizations around the world. They assist the Changemen with logistics, field support, perimeter defense, and emergency response during Gozma's attacks.

Though they do not possess Earthforce powers, they remain an important part of Earth's organized resistance against the invasion.

Captain Inogaki is the Earth Defense Force mechanic and technical specialist responsible for maintaining the Changemen's vehicle fleet.

He works on the Auto Changers, Change Cruiser, and other support systems, helping keep the team's equipment ready for deployment against Gozma threats.
