Dimitria decided that it was time for the senior members of the Rangers to give up their powers and pursue other aspects of life, and so Tommy passed on the powers of the Red Turbo Ranger to TJ, who came to Angel Grove to follow his dream of becoming a professional baseball player. He got more than he bargained for after helping out Tommy and Kat, who were being attacked by Divatox's forces. His bravery and decisiveness in assisting the Rangers led to him being chosen as the new Red Turbo Ranger. TJ's Turbo powers were lost when Divatox's forces destroyed the Power Chamber. He led the powerless team into space, where he became the Blue Space Ranger. TJ returned years later, once again with the Red Turbo Ranger powers. He joined 9 other Red Rangers on a mission to stop the Machine Empire from destroying Earth with the newly arisen Serpentera.
